ESG Reporting Certification Course (2nd Cohort - 7 Pre-recorded Sessions) FLYER

The Institute is a recognised thought leader in governance reporting. Obtaining the Institute's ESG Reporting Certification means you stand apart from your peers by having a comprehensive ESG reporting understanding and competencies. This Course consists of seven 2-hour sessions with 20 ESG experts as speakers, including reporting professionals from listed companies and the largest accounting firms.

A Certificate that Matters

Attendees who successfully fulfilled attendance requirements and passed a final assessment will be accredited for two years and will also be: 

• Permitted to use the post-nominal, 'HKCGI Cert: ESG' during the accreditation period.
• The names and post-nominals of those who have successfully obtained the certification will be listed on the Institute’s designated webpage for prospective employers and public searches.

There will be a maximum of two intakes per year and a refresher course every two years for extended accreditation. The ESG Reporting Certification Course counts toward ECPD hours for Institute members.

Attendees have the luxury of watching the recorded sessions online at your own pace to fulfill the attendance requirement.

Entry Requirements

• Members, graduates and students of the Institute; or
• Holders of bachelor’s or higher degrees; or
• Full-time or part-time students leading to bachelor's or higher degrees

Government Funding

This is an Eligible Programme for Hong Kong residents to claim a reimbursement of up to 80 or 100% of the course fee under the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme, subject to a lifetime ceiling of HK$10,000 (effective from May 2023).

Reimbursement applications, subject to reimbursement requirements and procedures (https://www.greentalent.org.hk/Individuals/ReimbursementProcedures), should be sent directly to the Pilot GSF Capacity Building Support Scheme office within three months of programme completion.
