The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange) is committed to continuously enhancing the corporate governance framework to improve governance quality among listed companies. On 19 December 2024, the Exchange published the Consultation Conclusions, outlining significant amendments to the Corporate Governance Code and related listing rules, which will take effect on 1 July 2025, with specific transitional arrangements.
This seminar will feature two experienced speakers from BDO, who will provide a comprehensive overview of the key amendments highlighted in the Consultation Conclusions. They will delve into the rationale behind these changes and discuss their implications for listed companies, directors, and company secretaries.
Following the presentations, a panel discussion will include two company secretaries from listed companies, offering their insights on effectively aligning with the new governance changes. This interactive session aims to equip participants with practical strategies for successful implementation of the revised Code, fostering a deeper understanding of the evolving corporate governance landscape.
