Description
The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) presents its 6th Annual AML/CFT Conference. Since 2016, HKCGI and the AML/CFT Organisations under its Charter Programme have been recognised by the HKSAR Government for their contributions to strengthening Hong Kong’s AML/CFT framework and the trust and company service providers (TCSP) sector, including the recent training of nearly 500 professionals through HKCGI’s AML/CFT Certification Programme.
AML/CFT compliance is no longer just a regulatory requirement — it has become a broad business concern impacting organisations across all sectors. Industry-specific developments — such as virtual assets, redomiciliation, and technology-enabled compliance — combined with the growing influence of geopolitics and sanctions, present both challenges and opportunities.
This year’s Conference explores Hong Kong’s current position and future direction, providing businesses, governance professionals, compliance leaders, and practitioners with a platform to stay informed and exchange practical insights, as well as opportunities for professional and career development.
