Description

The Effective Communication Skills for Governance Professionals is the Institute’s Soft Skills Training Series aimed at equipping governance professionals with essential communication skills to enhance their effectiveness in leading teams and driving organisational success.

This physical workshop is the final session of the soft skills training series. In this workshop, participants can practice various communication techniques which learnt from the previous sessions, through different interactive exercises and role-plays. Various feedback for further skill enhancement will also be provided individually and in group.

Speaker’s biography:
Dr Eva Chan FCG HKFCG(PE) is a Chartered Governance professional and has more than 30 years working experience as senior management of listed companies. She is a certified Executive Coach of Association for Coaching and the Chairman of Hong Kong Investor Relations Association. She is an Adjunct Professor of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and is also Independent Non-executive director of companies listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Dr Chan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She then received her MBA degree from the University of Nottingham. She also obtained a DBA degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  She is a fellow member of HKCGI and The Chartered Governance Institute, as well as a fellow member of HKICPA and ACCA.

1. This training series is set out for HKCGI members, graduates and students only.
2. Participants of this physical workshop are highly recommended to attend all three free webinars to equip themselves with the basic knowledge.
3. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. No CPD point will be obtained for attending this event.
5. To safeguard the health of all participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encouraged to join:
-        Fever;
-        Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.
