Following the Institute’s first ‘Bank Account Opening Survey' report published in September 2016, the Institute conducted second survey in Q1 2018 among its members, especially those working for corporate service providers, professional firms and businesses involved in bank account opening for customers and themselves as to the difficulties companies faced with bank account opening in Hong Kong. The second survey concluded that there are continuing difficulties in companies opening bank accounts in Hong Kong following an earlier report in September 2016.
