Description

With the new Hong Kong Corporate Governance Code requiring biennial Board evaluations from 1 July 2025, it is more important than ever for Boards—and the governance professionals supporting them—to understand the available approaches and to conduct reviews that are both compliant and genuinely effective.

Hong Kong’s corporate landscape, with its prevalence of concentrated ownership, also presents unique challenges for Board evaluations. To help Boards navigate these complexities, HKCGI, in collaboration with Lintstock, has developed earlier guidance and now a practical toolkit specifically designed for Hong Kong-listed companies, enabling reviews that deliver meaningful insights and actionable outcomes.

This seminar provides chairs, company secretaries, and governance professionals with a hands-on, practical approach to conducting effective Board evaluations. Participants will gain insights into international best practices, strategies to overcome common challenges, and practical tools to make Board reviews truly impactful.
