Entities established in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands (BVI) are commonly used by MNCs and listed companies in the world for various purposes. This seminar will provide an overview of the latest development in these offshore jurisdictions as well as the recent legislative changes, in particular, the recent amendments to the BVI Business Companies Act. Speaker will also share valuable insights and practical tips for corporate restructuring/reorganisation and re-domiciliation from an offshore perspective.

The following key contents will be covered:

  1. Comparison of companies in offshore jurisdictions, common offshore structures & corporate reorganisation/restructuring of offshore companies, including examples 
  2. Key considerations for Re-domiciliation / Continuation of Offshore Companies or Companies into Offshore
  3. Key highlight on the recent changes of the BVI Business Companies Act
