The Institute successfully hosted its 26th ACRU on 6 June 2025, attracting over 2,300 delegates comprising governance professionals, directors, and senior management from across the region.
Guided by this year’s theme of “Governance for Growth”, this flagship event provided a hybrid platform for participants to gain first-hand insights into the latest regulatory developments shaping governance practices in Hong Kong.
Six key government authorities and regulators delivered comprehensive updates:
- Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX): Post-listing compliance, enforcement updates, financial statement disclosures, and USM reforms.
- Securities and Futures Commission (SFC): Tools to address corporate misconduct, IPO sponsor duties, and the Uncertificated Securities Market regime.
- Companies Registry (CR): Legislative updates on the Companies Ordinance.
- Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB): Policies and regulations for the financial services industry.
- Digital Policy Office: Digital transformation opportunities with digital corporate identity.
- Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC): Public-private partnership for uplifting integrity management and corporate governance.
The Institute extends its profound gratitude to all government authorities and regulators, speakers, panel chairs, sponsors, supporting organisations, and delegates whose collective contributions made ACRU 2025 a forum for governance excellence. We remain steadfast in our commitment to championing governance thought leadership, driven by our vision of “Better Governance. Better Future”.
