Description

Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that save a person's life if his breathing or heart stops. Immediate CPR can increase the chance of survival after cardiac arrest. If we know the basics of the first-aid protocol, we can be more confident to save lives in the event of emergencies.

Organised by Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC), this course focuses on equipping participants with the CPR skills and choking management for adults. The following topics will be covered in this course:

  • introduction to heart diseases and prevention
  • anatomy and physiology of heart and lung
  • practices on adult CPR and choking management

Upon completing this course with 100% attendance and passing the practical examination, participants will be eligible for the Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate with a validity for 3 years. The fee paid includes CPR & AED course manual, examination fee and certificate.

Please note that your Full Name and the first 4-digit of HKID card (e.g A123) would be shown on the certificate(id card size). If you would like to have the certificate, kindly provide the required personal information at the registration counter upon arrival.

Remarks:

1. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-member can only enrol to this event together with a HKCGI member/graduate/student.

2. All fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by HKCGI. 

Precautionary measures:

1. To safeguard the health of all participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are NOT permitted to join: 
-        Fever;
-        Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.
