This Putonghua seminar offers a clear and practical introduction to the fundamental principles of competition law under Hong Kong’s Competition Ordinance (Cap 619). Two competition law practitioners will explain why compliance matters and how the law impacts everyday business decisions. They will also highlight practical steps businesses can take to build a compliance culture, manage risks, and respond effectively to regulatory investigations. Participants will learn about the key prohibitions under the Ordinance, such as anti-competitive agreements and abuse of market power, and explore real-world examples that illustrate the risks of non-compliance.
