Description
In 2024, HKCGI launched the Sustainability Governance Academy, establishing Hong Kong’s first dedicated platform for HKCGI Sustainability Professionals and industry leaders to exchange insights and share best practices in sustainability governance.
At this year’s annual update, attendees will hear directly from HKEX regulators and senior sustainability leaders, who will provide forward-looking perspectives on Hong Kong's ESG reporting landscape. The programme will address global trends from listed issuers’ perspectives, highlight key updates—including the Hong Kong Government’s strategic roadmap for advancing sustainability reporting—and explore how companies can meet investors’ expectations.
We’re also delighted to welcome Mr Wen Xu as our special guest. An accomplished scientist and the first Chinese explorer to reach the South Pole on foot, he will share compelling firsthand observations on the environmental impact of climate change.
Cocktail reception (6.00 pm - 6.45 pm)
The seminar is followed by a cocktail reception where delegates who participate in person can enjoy drinks and refreshments, and meet with the speakers and other ESG experts as well as fellow seminar participants.

- Physical seats are limited and shall be taken on first-come first served basis. Registration will be closed on 24 July 2025 at 2.00pm.
- Once enrolment in the physical session is confirmed by the Institute, requests to change to online session will NOT be entertained.
- Physical attendance is subject to the weather condition at the time of the seminar. The Institute reserves the right to convert enrolment in the physical session into online session.
- Sustainability Professionals of HKCGI Sustainability Governance Academy and Completers of HKCGI ESG Reporting Certification Course will receive email invitations from HKCGI on 26 June 2025 and 10 July 2025 respectively to join the seminar on complimentary basis.
