The Institute is delighted to host its first 'Family Office' conference to complement Hong Kong's major policy initiative to attract families from the MENA, South East Asia, and beyond to establish family offices in Hong Kong.

The Financial Services and Treasury Bureau will provide the keynote address, joined by leading industry specialists and professionals at the conference, for delegates to learn of the substantial progress made by Hong Kong's financial system for family office setup.

The speakers will discuss the main factors that make Hong Kong attractive to family offices, regulatory initiatives, practical solutions, and other wealth planning-related concerns. Specifically, the conference will cover setup, taxation and other legal and governance issues. There will also be panel discussions for practical sharing with question-and-answer sessions.

The conference is not to be missed for a holistic and applied understanding of the governance aspects, thoughts and opportunities for governance professionals and others interested in family office setup and/or providing support services.

• Physical seats are limited and shall be taken on first-come first served basis. Registration will be closed on 19 September 2023 at 5.00pm.

• Physical attendance is subject to the weather condition at the time of the seminar. The Institute reserves the right to convert enrolment in the physical session into online session.
