Director Training Series

The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) successfully organised the 2025 Director Training Series – Dialogue with Regulators, consisting of three hybrid sessions between July and October 2025:

Session One: Onboarding and Beyond IPO - Director Duties Decoded
Session Two: Learn from Pitfalls in Corporate Transactions
Session Three: Board Governance: Driving Audit Quality and Credible Disclosures

The series offered a valuable opportunity for directors of listed companies, along with their supporting teams, to engage directly with regulators, namely:

• Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX)
• Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)
• Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC)

Participants gained insights into regulatory and enforcement concerns impacting their businesses and roles, enabling them to better understand and manage associated risks effectively.
