Over 2,200 delegates, comprising governance professionals, directors, senior management and those interested in governance, attended the 25th Annual Corporate & Regulatory Update (ACRU) on 7 June 2024 to hear directly from regulators their latest regulatory updates.
Regulators directly spoke and shared:
- Companies Registry (CR) on legislative and service updates.
- Competition Commission on Competition Law Enforcement.
- Hong Kong Business Ethics Development Centre of ICAC provides guidance on fostering an ethical culture within Hong Kong organisations.
- Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) on the latest climate-related disclosure requirements, directors' duties, and listing updates.
- Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (PCPD) on data protection practices and personal data privacy regulations.
- Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on directors' duties, enforcement work in relation to listed companies, and generative artificial intelligence.
