Description

Eco‑friendly preserved moss keeps its colour and texture for years with no maintenance required. It’s a perfect way to add lasting greenery to your home or office.

In this workshop, jointly organised with WWF‑Hong Kong you will create your own natural artwork using preserved moss and materials of your choice. Guided by experienced instructors, a 3D moss painting (20x20cm) that reflects your style, learning simple techniques to mix colours and textures into a unique piece of art.

The workshop will be hosted at the Central Visitor Centre, right next to the Central Peak Tram station. The Centre is WWF‑Hong Kong’s sustainable lifestyle hub, where you can explore and learn more about their conservation work in person.

Important notes:

1. No drinking and eating during the workshop other than water.

2. Please bring your own reusable water bottles, water dispenser is available at the centre. **Single use plastic bottle is not recommended**

3. Please bring your own bag to carry your painting.

Adverse weather/condition arrangement:

If the following weather signal or announcement remains effective on the event date (i.e. 28 February 2026) at 8.00am, the event will be cancelled:
- Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above;
- Black Rainstorm Signal; and/ or
- Extreme condition (極端情況).

Remarks:

1.  All participants must be aged 6 or above. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members can only enrol on this event together with an HKCGI member/graduate/student.

2. All fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by HKCGI. 

3. Photos will be taken during the event. The Institute reserves the right to publish the photos at the Institute's channels, including the website, monthly journal (CGj), and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

4. To safeguard the health of participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encouraged to join:
- Fever;
- Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease
