Description

In support of cultural diversity and social inclusion, the Institute is please to organise A Cultural Exploration at The Mills with Ethnically Diverse Children 「童」遊文化之旅:探索南豐紗廠, in collaboration with WEDO GLOBAL(愛同行), a social enterprise in Hong Kong.

This community service event invites volunteers to join ethnically diverse primary school students aged 6 to 12 in exploring The Mills in Tsuen Wan, a vibrant cultural landmark with deep roots in Hong Kong’s textile heritage. Volunteers will be paired with children from diverse backgrounds to support their learning of spoken Cantonese and written Chinese through engaging and interactive activities, while also discovering together how the textile industry connects to our daily lives.

Volunteers will receive an electronic certificate of attendance as a token of appreciation for their time and effort.

Join us for this meaningful experience and enjoy a fun-filled weekend of learning, sharing, and connection!
