As guardians of compliance and facilitators of board effectiveness, you are uniquely positioned to champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the organisations. This workshop addresses the critical need to understand the role in promoting DEI through governance structures, policy development, and inclusive leadership practices.

In this workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand the Business Case for DEI
  • Develop Inclusive Leadership Competencies
  • Implement DEI Governance Frameworks
  • Navigate DEI Challenges in Corporate Settings
  • Create Action Plans for DEI Implementation


Speaker’s biography
Leona Wan is a leadership learning facilitator and executive coach with a mission to promote and sustain her clients’ successes. She specializes in inspiring her clients to be their personal best with a warm and open style. Her expertise and key interests focus on adaptive leadership, personal and team transformation, emotional intelligence, resilience and sustainability.

1. This training is set out for mentors and mentees of 2025 Mentorship Programme.

2. Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis.

3. HKCGI members and graduates are required to fulfil 15 CPD hours, including 6 ECPD hours from the Institute’s ECPD courses in the year 2025/2026. Please note that the 2 CPD hours to be awarded from this training will NOT be counted for the fulfillment of the 6-ECPD requirement.

4. To safeguard the health of participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encourage to join:
- Fever;
- Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.

5. Photos will be taken during the event. The Institute reserves the right to publish the photos at the Institute's channels, including the website, monthly journal (CGj), and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
