Explore the great outdoors with confidence and peace of mind! This First Aid Workshop is designed to equip you with essential skills to handle health challenges and injuries related to hiking environments and animals.

This 3-hours workshop is organised by Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) and covers a wide range of practical and informative topics, including: 

  • Introduction to hiking first aid kits
  • Managing health issues caused by environmental factors
  • Understanding different types of wounds and injuries
  • Practical bandaging techniques
  • Addressing animal-related health concerns
  • Handling common injuries and wound care effectively

Whether you are an experienced adventurer or new to hiking, this workshop provides invaluable knowledge to keep you and your companions safe on your journeys. Learn from experienced instructors and take your outdoor skills to the next level!

Remarks:

1. All participants must be aged 15 or above. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members can only enrol on this event together with an HKCGI member/graduate/student.

2. All fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by HKCGI.

3. To safeguard the health of all participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encouraged to join: 
-        Fever;
-        Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.

4. Photos will be taken during the event. The Institute reserves the right to publish the photos at the Institute's channels, including the website, monthly journal (CGj), and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
