Psychological safety is an important concept, especially in workplaces and team settings. It refers to the belief that one can speak up, share ideas, make mistakes, and take risks without fear of negative consequences like ridicule, rejection, or punishment.
Recent researches have proven that Team Psychological Safety is the top contributor to High Performance Team. In this workshop you will be able to:
- Understand team and psychological safety – appreciate team dynamics and define psychological safety, and their significance in team performance
- Identify barriers – explore the common barriers psychological safety in the workplace
- Practice key behaviors – such as active listening, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging open dialogue
- Create action plans – encourage leaders to develop actionable strategies to cultivate psychological safety within their teams
Speaker’s biography
Leona Wan is a leadership learning facilitator and executive coach with a mission to promote and sustain her clients’ successes. She specializes in inspiring her clients to be their personal best with a warm and open style. Her expertise and key interests focus on adaptive leadership, personal and team transformation, emotional intelligence, resilience and sustainability.
