Description

Rock climbing not only builds physical strength but also brings great benefits for mental health, which emphasizes on self-improvement and self-transcendence.

At this session, a professional coach will teach participants the fundamental knowledge of rock climbing, including equipment, basic climbing moves, abseiling, belaying and rock types. The coach will also guide participants for different climbing skills.

Student ambassadors could join together with members, graduates, and students to the indoor rock climbing (室内攀石). Equipment is included and beginners are welcome.

Introduction of JUST CLIMB
JUST CLIMB is a professional indoor rock-climbing facility which provides qualified venues for both beginners and professional climbers. The team is led by an experienced and passionate former rock climber, offering services for rock climbing walls, including wall structure design, production, and construction. They are committed to bring the most advanced design and technology to society and providing everyone with the best rock-climbing experience.

Programme rundown:

2.00pm – 2.15pm Registration and warm up
2.15pm – 2.30pm Introduction - falling skill, bouldering rules
2.30pm – 4.00pm Practice session

Important notes: 1. Each participant must sign a Disclaimer and Participant Agreement issued by the service provider, Just Climb Association Limited, on or before the registration of the event day.
2. Participants must wear safety equipment when they are inside the area and comply with the venue safety guidelines.
3. Participants should wear trousers and cannot wear slippers or sandals during the practice session; the service provider further suggests participants to bring their own coats and towels.
4. Participants should notify venue staff immediately if anyone is injured or find any damage to the facilities. 
Remarks: 1. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-members can only enrol on this event together with an HKCGI member/graduate/student.
2. All fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by HKCGI.
3. To safeguard the health of all participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encouraged to join: 
-        Fever;
-        Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.
