Description
Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF) is the first non-profit organisation dedicated to mitigating the threat of breast cancer in the local community through education, patient support, research and advocacy.
Breast cancer can invade nearby breast tissue, spread to the underarm lymph nodes and to other sites of the body such as the lungs, bones, liver and brain. It can harm the function of the affected organs and, potentially, the life of the patient.
However, breast cancer is curable. The survival rate of breast cancer is very high if it is detected at an early stage. Early detection can also save burdensome medical costs and reduce the need for extensive treatments and the associated negative physical and psychological impacts.
In this webinar, the speaker will explain more about risk factors, signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and teach you how to do a breast self-exam at home to help you detect breast cancer earlier when it is easier to treat.
Let’s join this informative webinar to protect your breast health!
