Description

Yin yoga is slow-paced style of yoga which requires participants to hold a posture for a longer period of time. It aims to simulate the deepest tissues, release the tensions stored in the body and calm our nerves. Yin yoga is ideal for people who wish to develop a meditative practice or strive for a balance for their intensive exercise routine.

This workshop will focus on the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine. Instructor will lead participants to stretch and lengthen muscles, and teach how to breathe while holding the postures. Participants may also use some tools to help them deep down to the poses.

Yin yoga also offers various physical and mental health benefits. Individuals who are interested in relaxing the body and calming the mind are welcome to join.
