Description


Accident is unpredictable. But you can equip yourself with the essential first aid knowledge to provide immediate care to yourself, your family or a person who is injured. Through learning first aid, you will know what should or should not be done and how to help people efficiently during emergency.

This elementary first aid course is organised by Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC). After completing this course, you will understand the basic knowledge of first aid, which helps you to determine the sequence and priority of first-aid treatments during an emergency.

All notes and training materials will be included. Participants who have 100% attendance will be eligible for the Elementary First Aid Attendance Certificate. Please note that your full name will be provided to HKRC for issuing the certificate.

  • Shock & Fainting
  • Choking
  • Asthma
  • Unconsciousness
  • Fever
  • Febrile Convulsion
  • Poisoning
  • Burns & Scalds
  • Skeletal Injuries
  • Simple bleeding bandaging

Remarks:

1. Enrolment will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-member can only enrol to this event together with a HKCGI member/graduate/student.

2. All fees paid are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by HKCGI. 

Precautionary measures:

1. To safeguard the health of all participants, participants with any of the following circumstances are not encourage to join: 
-        Fever;
-        Presence of symptoms of novel infectious disease.


2. All participants MUST wear their own surgical mask properly at all times during the workshop.
