Moving sand art is created from the natural movement of water, sand and air. These versatile hand-made art pieces are interactive, ever-changing and mesmerizing. Different images can be created through turning the frame and allowing air to flow through the bottom of the sand. You will be mesmerized and find a peace of mind from the fascinating image of the falling sand. This also serves as a great addition to decorate your home or office.
In this workshop, you will be guided by an experienced instructor to create your own piece of moving sand art (19cm width x 14cm height x 4cm depth). You can also showcase your creativity and aesthetics.
By applying different combination of coloured sand, you can showcase your creativity and aesthetics. All materials will be provided at the workshop.
Instructor’s bio
Ms Justine Leung is the founder of a natural-based studio. She is experienced in DIY creations and has launched a series of craft workshops. She has also been interviewed by different medias, including TVB and U magazine etc.
