Website Description:
Chinese New Year 2023 will fall in late January next year. It is never too early to get prepared and consider the decoration to create a festive Chinese New Year vibe. Apart from the traditional Fai Chun, making a 3D greeting card with New Year theme will also be a good choice.
The Institute is pleased to roll out a 3D greeting card workshop for interested members, graduates and students. Each participant can select one from the two themes: Dancing lion (舞獅) or Daruma doll (達摩吉祥物). Lion dance is a popular performance during the Chinese New Year to bring good luck and fortune. Daruma doll is a Japanese traditional doll which is a symbol of rich and good luck.
At the workshop, participants will be guided to make their own 3D greeting card and can take it home to compliment Chinese New Year upon completion. All materials will be provided.
