Estate planning in not just the consideration for high net worth individuals but is relevant to everyone who accumulates any wealth in the course of contributions to the society.

This practical webinar helps members, graduates and students to understand how to better structure succession planning and how inheritance in Hong Kong works.


Wills & Probate Specialists from Oldham, Li & Nie, will provide an overview of the Hong Kong laws surrounding wills and probate, explain why it is important to prepare a will, and cover dos and don’ts of estate planning. Speakers will also share real life probate cases they have handled.

This webinar is aimed at anyone who advises on estate planning or just needs guidance on protecting their family wealth.

Speaker’s biography:
1) Anna Chan
Ms Chan is the Partner at Oldham, Li & Nie and the Head of its Tax Advisory & Private Client Departments. She handles a range of issues that may confront private clients, including estate planning and the establishment and administration of trusts, probate and contentious probate matters, and administration of estates. Ms Chan is ranked a Highly Regarded Private Client practitioner by ITR World Tax.

2) Gareth Leung
Mr Leung is a Trainee Solicitor at Oldham, Li & Nie, specializing in Private Client and Dispute Resolution. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from King’s College London and completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the City University of Hong Kong.
