Job Description

We require a Project Director to plan, execute, and deliver a sizable project promoting sports governance and integrity, involving the imparting of knowledge and the management of various stakeholders, including athletes, donors, universities, production houses, and matching the needs within the sports sector with the talent developed under the project. The initial contract is for six months, with a high probability of multiple renewals for at least three years, contingent upon the selection of the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of a major sports governance project.
• Develop and implement programmes, workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote best practices including collaboration with aligned stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with athletes, donors, sports bodies, media/production partners and other stakeholders.
• Oversee talent development and facilitate matching of trained professionals with sports organisations.
• Manage project operations, budget, reporting and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Represent the project in public forums and promote integrity in the sports sector.

Minimum Qualifications

• A recognised university degree or above
• At least 15 years of teaching experience including course development and delivery with ability to network with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in governance and integrity related knowledge and practices
• Member of CGI (formerly ICSA) and HKCGI preferred
• Team leader and player with effective organisational, project management and communications skills
• Good command of English, and Putonghua and Cantonese a plus.
