The Court, Council and Senate Secretariat (CCSS) is responsible for providing a wide range of services to the supreme bodies and associated committees of the University.
Reporting to the Director of CCSS and as a senior member of the Secretariat, the appointee will serve as secretary or assistant secretary to various committees, be responsible for co-ordination of administrative functions, university events and projects, as well as supervision of a team of staff in day-to-day operation of the Secretariat.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 20 years of relevant post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in the public sector including tertiary institutions. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, competency in committee work, and ability to work under pressure are essential. Ability to communicate in Putonghua is desirable. (Duration: 3 years, renewable)
Competitive remuneration and fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
