Description

Subsequent to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s release of the consultation conclusion in relation to the Corporate Governance Code and Listing Rules in December 2021, most of the new requirements have become effective for all Hong Kong listed companies from their financial years commencing from 1 January 2022. Amongst all the changes, “culture” is a topic being widely discussed and enquired within the industries.

This seminar is intended to provide a highlight of the key changes in the new Corporate Governance Code so that governance professionals can better be prepared with the changes and annual reporting disclosures. Speaker will specifically look into the issues relating to culture, including what does it mean by corporate culture; what are global regulatory development trends in governing culture in overseas and Hong Kong; what are the things governance professionals could do to build and address culture.
